When asked the origin of the bands name, Gil replies, “If you are wondering if we got our name from the famed Sunset “Strip” Boulevard in Los Angeles, we’re not that glamorous. Actually, we took our name from the street in Brewer where we rehearsed in a member’s home for many years.”
Gil adds that, “We’re excited to play the Artsapalooza festival for the second year in a row. The band had a great time last year, and Orono Firehouse crew was wonderful to us. We expect many of our fans to come out again, and hopefully, many new fans will be there, not only to enjoy us, but everything else that the festival has to offer too!”
Come listen and dance to Sunset Strip at the Orono Fire Department 8:00 p.m.- 8:40 p.m!
