Kate Kirby is a documentary film maker who grew up in Orono. She founded Kindred Planet Productions “to capture the interconnectedness of a 21st century world, raise awareness around social justice issues, and inspire action.” Her first documentary -Quinoa Soup, takes place in Bolivia and will be screened at this year’s KahBang Film Festival in Bangor.
