The mission of Stillwater Community Arts is to stimulate, advance, and sustain the visual and performing arts in Orono, Old Town, and neighboring communities by facilitating educational and cultural opportunities that enhance access to, awareness of, collaboration in, and appreciation for the visual and performing arts.

Formed in 2011, Stillwater Community Arts is a grassroots, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization made up of representatives from the greater Orono- Old Town communities, schools, businesses, service providers, artists, and supporters who agree that the arts are a critical part of any vibrant community.  Stillwater Community Arts aims to help advance the arts in the greater Orono-Old Town community by providing programming that both promotes access to and stimulates awareness of local, regional, and national performing and visual artists.

Stillwater Community Arts Board of Directors consists of: Katie Quirk President; Louise Joliffe, Vice President; Megan Schneider, Secretary; Tim White, Treasurer; Cami Carter, Connie Carter, Summer Sunderland, Emilia Bradson.
