Larry & Leslie Latour live out in Glenburn, ME on Pushaw Lake with their family of dogs and cats. They’ve been playing their eclectic mix of originals and covers in coffeehouses, fairs, bars, restaurants, house concerts/private parties, and benefits, and now in a long running series on facebook! Their albums of covers and original music are available both on CD and digitally at www.larryandleslielatour.com. They’ve just recently completed three new collections of original music, Real Music Real Music Two, AND NOW Real Music Three!
Just back from Arizona, Larry and Leslie typically hung out at their “regular” Camp Verde coffeehouse music night/open stage playing folk/rock originals, and also played listening rooms, house concerts, fairs, and other concert venues. They’re equally at home with original music and covers of a wide range of musicians, including Pete Seeger, Bob Dylan, James Taylor, and Taylor Swift. Fans are reminded of the old days in Greenwich Village! It seems to be all about finding the right mix of music for the right crowd.
The musicians here in the midcoast Maine region are an eclectic mix of musicians, a healthy mix of those with downeast roots and those who have come “from away” (as they say in DownEast, Maine), and Larry and Leslie blend right in. Although their roots are firmly planted in the ’60’s and ’70’s, they draw from older as well as newer forms of music, equally at home with Appalachian folk and modern alt music. Drop by and give them a listen.

Tough End String Band* is excited to be performing this Saturday, June 18th, from 6:00 to 6:40 pm at The Family Dog in Downtown Orono as part of Artsapalooza.
